I am thrilled to be able to offer a range of occupational therapy services to kindergartens and schools, designed to meet the unique support needs of each setting.
Services are flexible, collaborative, and focused on supporting children’s participation, learning, and wellbeing within their everyday educational environments. Support can be tailored to individual students, small groups, teaching teams, or whole-school or kinder communities.
A range of assessment services to support understanding of students’ strengths and support needs, including individual assessments, small-group screening assessments, and assessments to support special provisions and reasonable adjustment applications. Please see page X for further details.
Consultation services may include supporting educators seeking guidance around specific students, classroom strategies, IEP goals and recommendations, SSG meeting support, or environmental supports. Consultation may also focus on building staff capacity through shared problem-solving and practical strategies that can be embedded into everyday practice.
Professional development sessions designed to build knowledge, confidence, and practical skills for educators and support staff. Sessions can be tailored to the needs of the setting and focus on a variety of topics.
Hosted by your kinder or school, these information sessions are designed to support an understanding of child development, participation, and regulation. These sessions aim to strengthen home–kinder/school collaboration and provide families with practical strategies they can use in daily routines.
Facilitation of evidence-based, targeted small group programs to support specific areas of development such as motor skills, executive functioning, emotional regulation and social connection skills. Whole class sessions maximise an inclusive approach, and may include sessions such as fine motor skill development, handwriting, understanding neurodiversity, and effective whole body movement breaks. I have additional knowledge in group formations and supporting group dynamics.
Support with funding applications, including Kindergarten Inclusion Support (KIS) funding and Disability Inclusion Program (DIP) funding. This includes guidance, documentation support, and functional information to assist schools and kindergartens in navigating funding processes.
I have been involved in several successful funding and grant applications and can provide guidance and documentation support to assist schools and kindergartens in navigating these processes.
I understand that welcoming external service providers into your setting requires trust and reassurance. I am committed to working safely, professionally, and collaboratively to support children in your care.
